IN ONLY ONE POWERFUL DAY

I transform the Mindset of sports teams to WIN and perform consistently — Right Now!

David Noda

Winning Mindset Transformer

Certified NLP Practitioner • Proponent of Neuro-Associative Conditioning (NAC)

PROVEN WITH THE BRISBANE BULLETS

The Brisbane Bullets had lost five games in a row.

I was brought in to lead a one-day Mindset Transformation session with the team.

During the session, I worked on the players’ beliefs, conditioning, emotional responses and mental patterns — with the objective of changing the way they responded under pressure.

I designed and led the Mindset Transformation session. Leroy Loggins and Mario assisted me during the session. As part of it, I introduced the Haka, taught it to both of them, and used it as a powerful attention-getter and state-changing exercise.

The impact was immediate.

In their very next game, the Bullets produced a significant win.

Contemporary newspaper coverage of the turnaround ran under the headline:

“LEROY TO THE RESCUE”

The article also highlighted the Haka and mentioned David Noda, Leroy Loggins and Mario in connection with the session.

From there, the Bullets moved onto a much stronger trajectory.

I do not claim responsibility for everything that followed, but I believe that day helped ignite a new winning pattern.

In 2007, the Brisbane Bullets went on to win the NBL Championship — their first championship in 20 years.

WHAT I TRANSFORM IN ONE POWERFUL DAY

Conditioning

I identify conditioned responses created through past experiences, pressure, losing patterns and repeated setbacks — and replace them with stronger winning responses.

Beliefs

I uncover limiting beliefs players may not even realise are affecting performance, bring them into awareness, and work to replace them with beliefs that support certainty and winning.

Pain & Pleasure

I reshape the emotional associations driving behaviour — moving players away from hesitation, inconsistency and retreat, and toward commitment, action, discipline and winning.

Physiology

I show players how changing the way they use their body can immediately influence emotional state, energy, confidence and focus.

The objective is simple: replace uncertain patterns with certainty, focus and a Winning Mindset that performs under pressure.

WHY MY APPROACH IS DIFFERENT

Much of traditional coaching and performance work focuses mainly on the conscious mind — what players are thinking, saying and doing.

My approach deliberately goes deeper.

I work with the subconscious and unconscious patterns that can drive automatic reactions, emotional responses, beliefs and behaviour — especially under pressure.

These patterns can develop over years and influence performance without the player even being consciously aware of them.

I don’t wait for those patterns to change gradually over time. I address them directly — in the room, in the moment.

As a Certified NLP Practitioner and proponent of Neuro-Associative Conditioning (NAC), I identify limiting beliefs and conditioned responses, bring them into awareness, and work immediately to create stronger associations, responses and patterns.

The purpose is not simply to motivate the team.

The purpose is to change the pattern — at the level where automatic behaviour begins.

THE OUTCOME

By the end of the day, the objective is for the team to leave with:

The goal is not temporary motivation.

The goal is a new internal pattern the team can take straight back into competition.

MINDSET AND INJURY RISK

A stronger Winning Mindset can also influence the way players move, react, communicate and make decisions under pressure.

When players are more focused, composed and certain, they may be less likely to make rushed or poorly controlled movements that can contribute to avoidable mistakes and some injuries.

Mindset cannot prevent every injury. Contact injuries, accidents and physical limitations will always exist.

But the objective is to help players perform with greater awareness, control and confidence — reducing unnecessary risk wherever possible while maintaining competitive intensity.
